Services and engagement

Software development and analysis services are provided on a project basis, typically through 6 or 12 month contracts, at a daily rate agreed in advance. Support services for individuals (computer maintenance, cleanup, and buying advice) are scoped flexibly per request.

Every engagement starts with a written proposal describing the scope, contract period, and rate. Work begins after both parties agree to the proposal.

Invoicing and payment

Invoices are issued by JR Software Solutions BV (BE1021.474.237) and are payable within 30 calendar days of the invoice date, unless agreed otherwise in writing. Late payments may accrue statutory interest under Belgian law.

Intellectual property

Unless agreed otherwise in writing, all deliverables created specifically for the client become the client’s property upon full payment of the related invoices. Pre-existing tools, libraries, and general know-how remain the property of JR Software Solutions BV.

Liability

JR Software Solutions BV performs all work with professional care. Liability is limited to direct damages and capped at the total amount invoiced for the engagement in which the damage occurred. Indirect or consequential damages, including loss of profit or data, are excluded to the extent permitted by law.

Confidentiality

Information shared during an engagement is treated as confidential. A separate NDA can be signed for projects that require it.

Applicable law

These terms are governed by Belgian law. Any dispute falls under the jurisdiction of the courts of the district in which JR Software Solutions BV has its registered office.
